Configure call divert in Jablotool

We use Essence phones in our company. Can we configure in Jablotool the way incoming calls are handled? How long does it take for the changes to take effect in my phone/s?

Yes, you can configure call divert in JabloTool. Configuration is available both to end-users and phone group administrators.

Configuration of call divert by end user

Follow these steps:

  1. Login to your account on www.jablotool.com
  2. Select your Essence on the dashboard.
  3. Click on Settings > Call divert and select the option, e.g. All calls.

Call divert user

All calls Diverts all incoming calls.
If busy When someone calls you and you speak to someone else.
If no answer When someone calls you and you do not answer the call.
If unreachable When someone calls you and the phone is OFF or it has no signal.

To change the option (e.g. from All calls to If busy) deactivate the original option (e.g. All calls) first.

Configuration of call divert by administrator

Administrator can configure call divert on all phones or on some of the phones in the group.

  1. Login to your account on www.jablotool.com and select your phone group on the dashboard.
  2. Select Call divert and mark all phones in the group where call divert should be configured. Then click on settings.
  3. Call divert in phone group

  4. A new window will appear. Configure call divert and confirm changes.

Choose call divert option

All calls Diverts all incoming calls.
If busy When someone calls you and you speak to someone else.
If no answer When someone calls you and you do not answer the call.
If unreachable When someone calls you and the phone is OFF or it has no signal.

To change the option (e.g. from All calls to If busy) deactivate the original option (e.g. All calls) first.

Administrator can exclude end users from configuration of call divert. Only admin will be allowed to configure call divert in JabloTool. Option is available to admin when they select Security. For more information about restricting user rights by phone group administrator click here.

Synchronizing configuration into phones

The changes made via jablotool.com take time to take effect, this time is determined by the synchronization period set for your group/phone (e.g. 15, 30 minutes, 1 hour or one day). This means that it can take up to 15, 30 minutes, 1 hour or one day for the changes to take effect.

Phone users will find the synchronization period in Settings > Synchronization. Phone group administrators will find the synchronization period in Settings.

When the synchronization is pending, your jablotool.com will show Sync pending After a successful synchronization, you will see Sync OK

You can start the synchronization manually from the phonebook. Press NAMES on your Essence, then press OPTIONS and select Synchronize now!.
